Fudge

3 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter
2/3 cups evaporated milk (5oz can)
1- 12 oz choc chips (semi-sweet)
1- 7 oz marshmallow crème
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch salt

Combine sugar, butter, and milk in 2 1/2 qt sauce pan. Bring to full rolling boil, stirring constantly. Continue boiling for 5 min. over med. heat or until 234*. Remove from heat; stir in choc. chips, add marshmallow and vanilla and salt; stir well. Pour into greased 8x8" pan.

David and I started making this together at Christmas time right after we got married.  One of his favorite holiday desserts.
