Dotties Chicken Enchilada Casserole


1 onion chopped+ sautéed
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can mushroom soup
1 can full of milk
2  cans green chilies, 4oz
½ c. sour cream
1 c. green Chile sauce
Corn tortilla (approx 18)
Chicken, cooked and chopped 3#
Grated cheese 4 c.


-In sauce pan: heat 1st 7  ingredients till bubbly, this mixture is the sauce

-Layer in 2- 8x8" pans or 1- 9x13"  sauce, tortillas, chicken, sauce, grated cheese, tortilla until the pan is 1/2 " from the top.

-Bake 350o for 30 min or until bubbly.

Top with green onion, citranto, or salsa.   This recipe came from Dottie's Kitchen Store.  It's become a family favorite.

Each 8" pan serves at least 6
