Our Chili

2 # ground beef
1 onion, chopped
3 T chili powder
½ t. cumin   
1 can tomato soup
3 cans diced tomato, 14 oz
2 cans beans (pinto, kidney, black)
salt to taste

Brown ground beef and onion.  Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer together for at least a ½ hour.  Serve with rice on bottom of the bowl, if you like.  Top with diced onion and grated cheese.

Serves 10

This is our family recipe, another combination of different ones we've liked over the years. I think it is very similar to the chili you can buy at Wendy’s.
