Asian Rice Salad

1/4 c rice vinegar
1 ½ teaspoon sugar or honey
1 teaspoon grated ginger root
2 teaspoons sesame or vegetable oil
2 teaspoons soy sauce
3 cups cooked white rice
1 small carrot, shredded (½ cup)
1/4 pound Chinese Pea Pods, cut in ½


Mix vinegar, sugar, gingerroot, oil, and soy sauce in medium bowl.  Stir in remaining ingredients. 

Serves 4
